Al-Ukbori discusses with UNHCR education interventions

Minister of Education Tareq al-Ukbori discussed Sunday with representatives of UN High Commission for Refugees interventions of the organization in education field and boosting partnership between the two parties.

He confirmed the pivotal role of the commission for helping refugees and providing its humanitarian services to them and necessity of solving any problem faced by the organization during the past period in educational field, stressing keenness of the ministry on dealing with different organizations on the bases of transparency for providing support to beneficiaries.

The director of the organization's office in Aden pointed out to services provided to refugees in educational field in liberated provinces.

He also pointed out that the organization helped the government in establishing a number of schools for teaching refugees in Aden and Lahj, reviewing problems facing education in camps and future plans of the organization.
