Planning Minister discusses with Saudi official reconstruction program

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Wa'id Batheeb discussed Wednesday with Deputy Head of Saudi Development Fund Khaled al-Khuthairi economic situation and government's efforts for preparing the program of reconstruction in the country.

The two parties also discussed efforts exerted by brother countries led by Saudi Arabia represented by Saudi Development Program and Saudi Program for Reconstruction in Yemen for resuming development projects in the country led Aden Public Hospital Project and cardiac center.

Batheeb pointed out to efforts exerted by the government with international partners for activating developmental projects and programs and coordination with UN agencies, the European Union and financial organizations like the World Bank and Islamic Bank and others through their offices in the transitional capital of Aden.

The meeting touched upon Saudi great role on practicing its influence on these organizations and extending terms of the financed development programs for boosting economic recovery and providing services.

For his part, the Saudi official confirmed keenness of Saudi Arabia on supporting the government of Yemen through speeding up implementation of all current projects.
