Signing Tripartite Agreement to Operate 70 Power Stations in Yemen with Saudi Support
A tripartite agreement was signed Wednesday between the Ministry of Electricity and Energy, the Yemeni Oil Company (PetroMasila), and the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen to finance petroleum derivatives and supply more than 70 power generation stations across various governorates.

Oil Minister launches YOC's building in Hadhramout

Minister of Oil and Minerals Abdulsalam Ba'aboud along with Deputy Governor of Hadhramout for the Valley and Desert Affairs Isam al-Katheri launched Sunday the building of Yemen's Oil Company, Hadhramout Branch.

The project cost USD 450, 000 financed by the company.

Ba'aboud and al-Katheri and their companions toured the building and its facilities.

In the launching ceremony, Ba'aboud pointed out that opening a building for the company in Hadhramout represents a breakthrough to the company, confirming keenness of the ministry for improving oil sector in the province and focusing on social development in the areas of exploring oil.

He pointed out that his ministry will exert efforts for implanting the ministry's plans with its partners and sending messages to international companies to invest in Yemen.
