Governor of Hodeida al-Hassan Taher discussed Friday with Director of the Office of the United Nations for Coordinating Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen (OCHA) Sajjad Mohammad humanitarian situations in the province.
Taher reviewed plans for tackling humanitarian situation in the liberated districts of the province, especially in remote areas, confirming significance of providing swift support to heath, water and food domains as the governorate faces difficulties in covering needs of displaced people and hosting community.
For his part, the UN official praised efforts of the local authority of Hodeida for helping international organizations implementing their activities, confirming OCHA's care of the province and including it in emergency response plan 2021.
