Al-Arada: Protecting antiquities national responsibility

Yemen, Egypt discuss latest developments after signing Riyadh Agreement

Yemen's Ambassador to Egypt Mohammad Marem discussed Wednesday with Assistant of Egyptian Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs Yasser Othman latest developments in Yemen since signing Riyadh Agreement.

Marem Talked about returning of the new government to Aden and Houthi militia's attempt of targeting it at Aden Airport.
He pointed out to US Administration of designating Houthi militia as foreign terrorist organization after popular campaign adopted by the government of Yemen over Houthi militia's continuous crimes against civilians and its rejection to all peace calls and ending the war.

He praised the role of Egypt for supporting the legitimacy under President Hadi in all international forums and for Egypt's facilitations to all Yemeni people in their ordeal resulted from Houthi militia's coup.

For his part, Othman conformed his country's firm position supporting Yemen, confirming that Egypt had welcomed Riyadh Agreement and works on supporting implementing all its points for enhancing peace process across Yemen.

The two parties stressed significance of preparations for holding the joint committee between the two countries as soon as possible as the best mean for best cooperation between them.
