Minister of Public Health and Population Qasem Buhaibeh discussed Tuesday with Director of UNICEF's office in Aden Charles Suzuki activities and interventions of the organization in health sector in a number of provinces.
The meeting reviewed most important interventions and programs organized by UNICEF in partnership with the ministry of public health and its role in providing anti-corona vaccine, as well as its role in carrying out other vaccine programs, feeding, sanitation, maternity and childhood health, capacity building, improving services and boosting emergency feeding program.
Health minister confirmed significance of joint work and supporting infrastructure programs of health facilities and equipping them with equipment and appliances for enabling them to provide their services as demanded.
He stressed significance of taking care of capacity building and training, qualification and following up implementation of the projects, praising the role of the organization on improving health sector in Yemen.
