President al-Alimi convenes meeting of government, local authorities

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) held today, Tuesday, a small government meeting included the governors of the government-held governorates, the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani and the Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) Ahmed Ghaleb.

FM meets with UNDP Resident Representative

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubark met here on Sunday with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Acting-Coordinator for Humanitarian Affair in Yemen Oki Lotsma.

The session intended to discuss aspects of coordination between the Yemeni government and the UNDP.

The conversations touched upon the UNDP's ongoing activities and programs.

Bin Mubark expressed his appreciation for the UNDP's efforts and actions, promising all necessary support to ease is mission.
The UNDP's official stated that the organization will continue to contribute to the humanitarian efforts to alleviate the Yemeni peoples' suffering.
