FM discusses with his Norwegian counterpart developments in Yemen

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubark discussed on Thursday with Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ine Marie Eriksen bilateral ties between the two counties and the latest developments in the Yemeni arena.

The conversations which held via video conference touched upon the findings of the investigations into Aden airport terrorist attack.

Bin Mubark stated that the investigations revealed that Houthi militia is responsible for the terrorist operation struck Aden airport upon the government arrived in the temporary capital Aden.

The Foreign Minister explored Norway's support for Yemen at the International Security Council as Norway now is impermanent member of the council.

The Norwegian Foreign Minister reiterated her condemnation of Aden airport terrorist attack, affirming her country's support for Yemen's security, stability and unity, as well as for the peace efforts to reach political settlement to end the war and handle humanitarian situations.
