The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Saudi cabinet re-welcomes US designation of Houthis as a terrorist organization

The Saudi cabinet has renewed its welcoming of the US decision to designate Yemen’s Houthis a terrorist organization.
In a videoconference headed by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Tuesday, the cabinet said it looks forward to the designation’s contribution to curbing the terror acts of the Houthi militia and its backers and neutralizing its danger to the Yemeni people as well as the global peace, security and economy.
The cabinet also hoped the designation will lead to supporting te political efforts to end the Yemeni crisis in line with the three relevant terms of reference for political settlement in the country.
