The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. The Supreme National Emergency Committee for combating corona pandemic discussed Tuesday in a meeting headed by Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik coordination with donor organizations led by World Health Organization, International Vaccine Alliance and the World Bank provision of anti-corona vaccine in Yemen.

The committee listened to a report by Minister of Public Health and Population Qasem Buhaibeh on coordination with WHO on this regard and time plan for arrival of the vaccine expected on March or first of April.

He reviewed developments of the pandemic and readiness for facing eruption of any new wave of the pandemic, confirming registering of none case in Yemen until now.

The committee reviewed priorities to the forthcoming period including its restructure and listened to a number of suggestions for activating its work.
