Distribution shelter materials to 490 displaced families in Hadhramout launched

Deputy Governor of Hadhramout for the Valley and Desert Affairs Hisham al-Sai'di launched Sunday distribution shelter materials to 490 displaced families in Hadhramout.

The aid is from the donation of United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) and is carried out by Humanitarian Integration Association.

The sponsor of the association Ali al-Alawi acquainted al-Sai'di and the Director of the Executive Unit of Displaced Persons Camp Nadia al-Fakhri with details on the project components; distribution mattresses, blankets, solar energy systems, mosquito nets and house materials.

Al-Sai'di confirmed significance of the project as it comes in cold weather in the desert and the valley of Hadhramout and will alleviate suffering of the displaced people over displacing from the areas of conflicts.

He called upon local authorities in the districts of Hadhramout to count the displaced people in their areas and following up their situations and communicate with donors for providing them with relief and humanitarian projects.
