Yemen's Ambassador to Moscow Ahmad al-Wahishi met Friday with the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Republic Aleksey Pesoshin discussing with him latest developments in Yemen, including formation of the new government.

He called different Russian companies to contribute in Yemen's reconstruction as Russia had previous significant role in developing Yemeni economy and improving infrastructure.

For his part, Bisoshen confirmed deep-rooted historical relations between the two countries and support of Russia to efforts of the UN for realizing peace in Yemen.

Earlier, the ambassador participated in the fifth international conference on Islam in the world of different cultures held at Kazan University on December 24-25, 2020.
