The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Isolation centers here received from Kuwaiti Relief Agency a batch of equipment and medical assistances for combating corona pandemic.
Deputy Governor of Shabwa Abdul-Qawi Lamrouq praised Kuwaiti generous support, pointing out that these assistances will help boosting medical and preventive capabilities of the centers.
For his part, Director of the Kuwaiti Relief Agency Adel Baishen made it clear that the assistances included two intensive care units, artificial breathing sets, vitality monitoring sets and preventive materials to health cadre.
On the other hand, Lamrouq inspected the ongoing work in reconstructing the new hospital project in Ataq city after damages over the war.
