The U.S. Embassy in Yemen has stated that the inspection of any vessel by the United Nations Verification and Inspection Mechanism in Yemen (UNVIM) does not mean that it is safe from U.S. sanctions, especially those ships, entities and individuals providing material support to the Houthis.

Governor of Aden Ahmed Lamlas held discussions Monday with the UNDP's Representative in Yemen Oki Lutsma.
The conversations focused on the UNDP's action-plan to carry out the project aiming to develop security system of Aden seaport. The work on the project is going to start tomorrow Tuesday and will continue for two weeks.
The governor applauded the UNDP's interventions, particularly the project designed to develop Aden's harbor.
