ADEN - SABA
Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health and Population Dr. Ali al-Waleedi held the theocratic Houthi militia accountable for the cases of polio which registered recently in the governorate of Sa'ada, the militia-strong hold governorate.
" Polio resurrection was a result of preventing vaccination teams from doing their job in the militia-controlled regions", said al-Waleedi.
Dr. Al-Waleedi's remarks came as he met the Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Yemen Dr. Eltaf Mossani.
Aspects of cooperation between the Ministry of Public Health and Population and the WHO were key focus of Al-Waleedi's conversations with Mossani.
