FM, FAO discuss response plan to control locusts in Yemen

Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Hadrami met Sunday with a delegation from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) headed by the Emergency Officer in the FAO's office in Rome Dominick Burgeon.
The discussion dealt with bilateral ties between the Yemeni government and the FAO, mainly the FAO's Response Plan to control desert locusts in Yemen and the African Horn.
Al-Hadrami highlighted the need for prompt support by FAO to help rehabilitating the capacities of the National Center for Control Desert Locusts, train the Yemeni cadre and provide necessary requirements amid Yemen's limited resources.
