Caretaker govt reviews latest developments in the country

The Caretaker government convened a session on Tuesday presided over by the designated Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik.

The session devoted to discuss the latest developments in the country and the government's action plans to deal with.

The Prime Minister provided an inclusive overview on the latest developments in different fields including underway efforts to implement Riyadh Agreement, UN-led efforts to make peace and Houthi militia's escalations and rejection to come to peace and the ramifications of the Iranian regime's continuous violations in Yemen.

The caretaker government condemned the Iranian regime's hostile policy toward Yemen and violations of the International Law and International Security Council's resolutions in relevant.

The government described the Iranian regime's move in which it smuggled one of its agents to Yemen, naming it ambassador to Houthi insurgent militia as a provocative action constitutes dangerous precedent and infringement on the essence of the rights of the member states of the UN. It stated that such step allows the rogue states to empower rebels and insurgents to violate the nations' sovereignty and send envoys to represent the rogue states to the rebellious groups.

The Foreign Minister reported about the UN's envoy's good offices to make peace and to get Safer oil tanker problem resolved.

Minister of Planning cited the outcomes of the meetings with the WB, International Finance Foundation and donors.
