Oil Minister inspects ongoing work at Yemen Gas Company

Minister of Oil and Minerals Aws al-Awd inspected Saturday the ongoing work at Yemen Gas Company her and inspected production of cooking gas and the process of shipping and distributing gas to cover local markets of all country's provinces.

Al-Awd was briefed by Deputy Executive Director of the company Mohsen Qurban and Director of Safir Directorate for Gas Mohsen bin Wahit on the ongoing work at all offices of the directorate and administrative and financial systems between the general management and its branches on the process of filling up and distributing gas.

The minister praised the role of the national institution for providing gas to all Yemeni people under difficult and exceptional conditions and obstacles made by Houthi militia to hinder the company's branch in their held-areas.

He stressed significance of doubling efforts for creating possible solutions for alleviating suffering of the people in all provinces, especially those under Houthi militia's control.

The minister also inspected Gas Filling Station and the Strategic Gas Tanks and was briefed by Director bin Wahit on mechanism of filling gas trucks in accordance with allocated lists to every province.
