The Deputy Governor of Marib Dr. Abd-Rabbo Miftah, met separately with the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and the deputy head of the MSF-Holland mission, who are currently visiting Marib to assess the humanitarian interventions of their organizations in the governorate.

Miftah praised the two organizations, expressing his hope that the intervention of the two organizations would expand to secure a real response to the needs of the IDPs and mitigate their suffering especially as the winter season is approaching.

Talks went over the humanitarian situation in the IDP camps in Marib and the difficult living conditions in which IDPs live in light of the limited role of international humanitarian organizations.
