The designated Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik presided over a meeting held virtually Monday brought together the governors of Aden, Marib, Taiz, Almaharah, Shabwa, Socotra, Hodeidah, Abyan, al-Dhale'a, Secretary General of Local Council of Lahj governorate.
Minister of Local Administration in the caretaker government also contributed to the discussions.
The discussion focused on the situations of the basic services, local authorities' efforts, plans and challenges need to be addressed to improve basic services.
The governors reported to the Prime Minister about the basic services situations, their action plans and efforts aiming to improve the basic services, underscoring the most pressing challenges should be managed to make the basic services available.
The Prime Minister urged joining efforts, prioritizing the most pressing needs and redressing irregularities.
