Caretaker government reiterates support for peace

RIYADH - SABA
The Caretaker government held session Tuesday presided over by the Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik.

The session devoted to discuss the latest developments about military, economic and political situations.

The Prime Minister reported about the ongoing efforts to accelerate the implementation of Riyadh Agreement and to form the new government. He also cited the economic and financial situations and the coordination with the Central Bank of Yemen in order to stop the slide of the national currency value.

The Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Salim al-Khanbashi reported about the basic services situations and the challenges need to be addressed urgently to improve services.

The Minister of Defense provided a detailed report about the military situations and combat operations in the battlefields in different fronts.

The Caretaker government reiterated its full support to the armed forces, national resistance fighters and tribesmen who are together engaged in fighting against Iran-backed Houthi theocratic militants.

The Foreign Minister presented a report about the underway Un-led peace efforts.
The government restated that it is in favor peace that is based on the three well known terms of reference.
