HR Ministry condemns Houthi militia's attacks on residential areas in Marib
[19/09/2020 04:02]
ADEN-SABA
Ministry of Human Rights condemned the continuation of the terrorist Iran-backed Houthi ballistic missiles attacks on the heavily populated residential areas in Marib governorate amid shameful silence by the international organizations that used to be interested in protecting human rights around the world.

A statement issued by the Ministry reads" throughout the war years Marib has hosted above 2 million of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) from different Yemeni governorates, provides them with basic services and protection".

The Ministry's statement added" Houthi militia's attacks on Marib seriously risking the lives of more than 2 million IDPs".

The Ministry stated that while we've seen the term of "humanity" used with much exaggeration by the International Community (IC) in Hodeidah, the IC has continued to keep on silence toward Marib, it is a blatant double standards policy in the use and application of the International Humanitarian Law.
