The Saudi mine action program known as MASAM extracted 1500 Houthi-laid landmines and UXOs in the second week of September, the program has said in a statement.
The Houthi militia have planted more than one million landmines in the country over the past six years of which thousands were extracted. Others have either exploded causing civilian casualties across the country or been lying in wait as a danger to people across the country.
