Planning Ministry signs MOU with Standardization Authority, WFP

The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation signed a memorandum of understanding in the interim capital, Aden, today with the Yemeni Authority for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control and the United Nations World Food Program, regarding the program’s provision of 66 devices for examining Yemen's food imports.
The MOU aims to provide inspection equipment for imported food and to enhance the performance of the Standardization Authority.
The Deputy Minister of Planning Nezar Basuheib stressed the need to properly and appropriately use the inspection equipment in accordance with the required specifications and standards, praising the support of the WFP.
