The Yemeni Gulf of Aden Ports Corporation - Aden Seaport office, totally denied the existence of any shipment containing ammonium nitrate in the port areas.
The corporation said the allegations that 140 containers loaded with nitrate have been stored in the port for 3 years are "falsifications."
The Media Department at the Seaport clarified in a statement that according to the procedures, regulations and laws governing the work procedures of the port, it is forbidden to admit or store any shipments that are globally classified as explosive, flammable or radioactive.
