Deputy Governor of Marib Abd-Rabbu Miftah laid foundation stone to the project of constructing and equipping " Kuwait Charitable Village" project to displaced people in Marib.
The project, which will be financed by Kuwait by Your Side Campaign, contains 1000 housing unit on the area of 227,000 square meter.
Miftah praised this humanitarian project for alleviating suffering of 1000 displaced families in Sirwah district, which hosts big number of displaced persons living in tents and under trees do not provide them real shelter against climate changes.
He called upon international organizations to focus on sustainable humanitarian projects instead of focusing on small projects do not deserve huge media campaigns covering them.
He thanked the State and people of Kuwait for their brotherly standing by their brothers in Yemen and their generous humanitarian interventions.
