Etelaf Al-Khayr, a local humanitarian NGO, launched in the temporary capital Aden today the distribution of Eid Al-Adhaha festival clothes to orphans and displaced children in 10 Yemeni governorates beginning with the temporary capital Aden.
During the inauguration, the coordinator of the national Higher Committee for Relief Aid, Jamal Belfakih, stressed the importance of the project in making the orphans and displaced kids feel loved and cared for, praising the role of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center in financing the project.
The project targets 84,780 displaced and orphan children in 10 governorates, namely Aden, Hadramawt, Al-Mahrah, Marib and Al-Dhalea , Taiz, Shabwa, Abyan, Lahj and Hodeidah.
In turn, the director of the Goodwill Coalition for Humanitarian Relief, Ahmed Imad, indicated that the implementation of the project comes after completing the survey procedures and arrangements in coordination with the social affairs offices in the governorates and the executive unit for the displaced to reach the target groups and hand them over for the Eid.
