The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Deputy Prime Minister Salem al-Khanbashi and Governor of Hadhramout General Faraj al-Bahsani inspected Sunday the ongoing work at Oxygen Plant owned by Mukalla Iron and Steel Company (MISC) at Arryan area here.
The two officials were acquainted with the process of producing oxygen and providing quarantine centers and health centers with oxygen cylinders to patients of corona and other pandemics.
They also inspected the production process at MISK, which is considered the greatest company for producing iron and steel in Yemen.
Al-Khanbashi confirmed significance of the factory for meeting the needs of local and international markets, praising contribution of oxygen plant for helping patients.
