Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Yemen's Ambassador to Moscow Ahmad al-Wahishi discussed Thursday with Russian Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirgi Vershnen latest developments in Yemen and UN Security Council's session demanded by the government of Yemen for tackling Safir Oil Tanker's issue.

Al-Wahishi discussed with Russian official falsified information on Yemen and its leadership published by a Russian company and demanded interference from Russian foreign ministry to inform the company to correct the falsified information on Yemen and its president Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

For his part, the Russian official confirmed his country's firm position towards the internationally-recognized government and support to UN efforts for realizing peace in Yemen.
