Marib authorities launch tailoring course for 30 female IDPs

The local authorities of Marib launched a course for training 30 female internal displacees including orphans in the field of tailoring and fashion design.
Marib's Deputy Governor for Administrative Affairs Abdullah al-Bakiri launched the course on Sunday with a local NGO to undertake the training. The course hopes to empower the trainees learn the profession of tailoring and be able to survive on their own.
The government-held province of Marib is a safe haven for thousands of families who have fled the crackdown of the Houthi militia in northwest Yemen over the past years.
