The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Information cooperation agreement between Saba, Xinhua signed

Yemen News Agency (Saba) and Chinese New News Agency (Xinhua) signed Saturday information cooperation agreement between the two agencies.

The Chairman of the Board of Saba Abdullah Hizam and the President of Xinhua Cai Mingzhao signed the agreement.

Hizam highlighted significance of the treaty for boosting information cooperation through news exchange and training journalists and technicians in field of news agencies' work for promoting information and technical work.

The agreement reflects also historical relations between Yemen and China, he added.

For his part, Mingzhao said the agreement aims at expanding cooperation between the two agencies and exchange cooperation in field of training journalists, reporters and technicians, as well as making use from Xinhua, which has been established in 1931 as the biggest media institutions in China.
