Yemen News Agency (Saba) and Chinese New News Agency (Xinhua) signed Saturday information cooperation agreement between the two agencies.
The Chairman of the Board of Saba Abdullah Hizam and the President of Xinhua Cai Mingzhao signed the agreement.
Hizam highlighted significance of the treaty for boosting information cooperation through news exchange and training journalists and technicians in field of news agencies' work for promoting information and technical work.
The agreement reflects also historical relations between Yemen and China, he added.
For his part, Mingzhao said the agreement aims at expanding cooperation between the two agencies and exchange cooperation in field of training journalists, reporters and technicians, as well as making use from Xinhua, which has been established in 1931 as the biggest media institutions in China.
