The National Committee to Investigate Human Rights Violation Allegations held Friday secret investigation sits with victims of torture and inhuman treatment victims were subjected to in a number of Yemeni provinces.
The committee listened to 13 victims, who reviewed incidents of physical torture they were subjected to by different tools and means in addition to psychological and moral torture. Some of them even revealed that they were subjected to sexual violence and depriving them from civil, social, health and food rights.
The victims reviewed also names of persons and bodies,nature of their jobs and places they were torturing in.
The committee also listened to five mothers and wives of victims who were following up the victims and revealed their suffering while searching for their sons and husbands' destination and psychological torture and threat they inflicted while searching.
During the sits, the victims of families of the victims demanded ending the injustice inflict torture victims and starting taking legal action against torturers.
