The governor of Socotra and the commander of the First Marines Brigade Brig. Ali Salmeen discussed on Monday securing the archipelago against security irregularities among other things.
Salmeen said the army and security forces back the local authority's efforts to protect the governorate against destabilization acts. They also discussed clamping down on excessive pricing of food items by retailers and small shops.
