As he held a telephone conversation Sunday with his Egyptian counterpart Dr. Mostafa Madboul, Ma'een expressed the Yemeni government's thanks and gratitude to the Egyptian government and people for Egypt's constant support for the legitimate Yemeni government and people.
The phone conversations dealt with the Yemeni-Egyptian historic relationship and a range of Arab and regional issues of common interests.
Ma'een briefed Madbouly on the latest developments in Yemen including Houthi militia's military escalation and rejection to all peace proposals.
