Yemen condemns Israeli Knesset's approval of law to execute Palestinian prisoners

The Republic of Yemen strongly condemns, in the strongest terms, the approval by what is known as the Israeli Knesset of a law stipulating the execution of Palestinian prisoners, and considers it an extremely dangerous escalation and a legislative precedent that entrenches an approach of extermination, and a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and a breach of international charters and agreements, namely the relevant Geneva Conventions on the protection of prisoners.

The Ministry of Public Health, in cooperation with the UNICEF, launched on Sunday an awareness-raising campaign against coronavirus in the government-held province of Marib.

The Director of the Ministry's provincial office Abdulaziz Al-Shaddadi said the campaign will involve 97 personnel will message precautionary measures to the people in a neighborhood to neighborhood and village to village tour by cars and loudspeakers. The one-week campaign will also distribute promotional posters and fliers that inform the people how to handle suspected infections and contact with the healthcare centers.
