Yemeni-Chinese cooperation in health sector discussed

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Nasser Ba-aum met Thursday with the Ambassador of the Peoples' Republic of China to the Republic of Yemen Kang Yong.
They discussed the ongoing efforts to counter coronavirus pandemic and the Chinese support for the government in this regard.
The discussions touched upon the distribution of the first shipment of China's medical assistance which intended to help controlling coronavirus.
The shipment arrived in Hadramout governorate on Wednesday including a set of DNA tests for 20 thousand people, 10 face mask, type N95 and 5 thousand normal mask, 5 thousand protection uniform, 5 thousand protection glasses and 5 thousand gloves .
Dr. Ba-aum expressed thanks and gratitude to the Peoples of Republic of China for its support to the Yemeni people.
The Chinese diplomat stated his country will continue to provide Yemen with support and aids.
