Vice President of the Republic (Lt Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh phoned the General Chief of Staff (Lt Gen) Saghear Hamood bin Aziz to extend his condolences to him on the martyrdom of his son and a number of servicemen who were killed on Tuesday in a missile attack carried out by Iran-allied Houthi rebels.

The Vice President expressed his heartfelt condolences to General bin Aziz, highly praising his patriotic stances against the theocratic Houthi militia since the early days of the sectarian group emergence.

The telephone conversation touched upon the developments in the battlefields where government's troops have been battling Iran-allied Houthi militants.
