Dr. Ba-aum to EU Ambassadors: immediate intervention imperative to control endemics

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Nasser Ba-aum held discussions on Thursday with the Ambassadors of the European Union (EU) Hans Grundberg, France Christian Testu and the Netherlands Irma Van Dueren.
The session aimed to the latest developments about the health situation and the outbreaks of the endemics in the city of Aden and other governorates.
Dr. Ba-aum detailed the EU diplomats on the health and humanitarian situations, citing the endemics spread in the interim capital Aden and elsewhere around the country.
The Minister called for dispatching experts to examine and diagnose the endemics and support the Yemeni medical cadres in Yemen.
He stated that the outbreaks of pandemics in Aden and several governorate require an immediate intervention by the International Community (IC).
