FM, Chinese ambassador address STC's failure to honor Riyadh Agreement

Yemen's Foreign Minister raised with the Chinese ambassador the failure of the Southern Transitional Council to honor the Riyadh Agreement which resolves the separatists' coup of August 2019 and provides for power sharing.
In a meeting here today, Mohammed al-Hadhrami said the government has and still been committed to the November deal as a vital step to patch up the differences and unify the national efforts against the Iranian plot in Yemen, represented by the Houthis.
Al-Hadhrami emphasized at the same time the government's right to preserve the state, the country's territorial integrity and security of the Yemeni nation. He appreciated the Chinese support to Yemen and affirmed Yemen's support for the One-China policy under which Taiwan is an inseparable part of China's territory.
The Chinese ambassador on his part affirmed the necessity of expediting the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement and unifying the national Yemeni efforts against the pandemic of coronavirus.
