Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik and Governor of Taiz governorate Nabil Shamsan reviewed local authority's action-plans and underway efforts to counter the coronavirus pandemic after first case of infection registered in the governorate.
Dr. Ma'een phoned Shamasn on Saturday evening to follow-up the precautionary measures taken by the local authority to cope with any potential emergency.
The Prime Minister directed Taiz local authority to coordinate with the High Emergency Committee tasked with Coronavirus and Ministry of Public Health about the measures need to be taken.
