Above 6 thousand IDP families affected by floods in Marib

As many as 6286 of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) in Marib governorate are reported to have been badly affected by the heavy floods the governorate seen last Wednesday in the areas of ( city of Marib, Serwah, al-Wadi and Madghal).

General Director of the Executive Unit for Managing the (IDPs) Camps in Marib governorate Saif Mothanna told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) 6286 of the IDP families were affected by the floods.

Mothanna added" 7 people died among of them 5 children and 550 were hurt 25 out of them critically bruised and two persons are still missing".

520 families are being lodged in hotels per directions of the governor Maj. General Sultan al-Arradah, according to Mothanna.
