Saudi mine action project in Yemen honors its personnel

The Saudi mine action program "MASAM" operating in Yemen organized on Monday an awards ceremony for its personnel, engineer and demining experts.
The event, on the occasion of the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action 2020 was held in the port city of Aden.
In a brief speech at the event, the deputy director of the National Mine Action Program Brig. Qayed Halboob appreciated the role MASAM played in clearing Yemen's territories from the landmines that the Houthi terrorist militia keeps planting.
The director of MASAM's operations in Aden Zawbaa al-Rawi said MASAM "has unearthed 158000 landmines since the project's start."
Certificates of recognition were given away to the experts, engineers and other personnel involved in the mission.
