Ministry of Oil: targeting Safer oil pipeline pumping station criminal, subversive action

Ministry of Oil and Minerals condemned Houthi militia's attack on Safer oil pipeline pumping station in Serwah area in Marib governorate, describing it as criminal and subversive act shows that the militia is deliberately targeting the Yemeni peoples' assets.

The militiamen shelled the pumping station on Saturday causing grave damages to the facility.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) the Ministry launched an appeal for the Yemeni political constituencies to move immediately to put an end of such criminal and destructive actions by the rebel militia.

The Ministry also called on the Arab Coalition, Yemeni authorities in charge above all the national military and security forces to take necessary measures to secure all oil and gas companies and facilities.
