The chief of the Supreme Committee for Relief Aid Abduraqeeb Fatah ordered on Wednesday for a contingency panel to assess the impact of the heavy rainfall in the port city of Aden.
Fatah called on the international organizations to lend a helping hand to the local authorities to mitigate the impact on the public and offer humanitarian aid to the worst affected.
Fatah called on the UN Humanitarian Coordinator to offer help in Lahj and Abyan provinces, also affected by the rainfall.
