Ba’oom, Chinese ambassador discuss support for Yemen health sector

RIYADH - SABA
Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Nasser Ba’oom, discussed with the Chinese Ambassador to Yemen Kang Yong on Sunday the bilateral cooperation and Chinese support to Yemen with expertise and technology to confront the Corona virus.

Minister Ba’oom reviewed with the Chinese ambassador the health situation in our country and ways to confront the virus that has posed a health challenge in China over the past weeks.

Ba'oom spoke highly of the great efforts China has made in containing and treating the virus.

For his part, the Chinese ambassador expressed his thanks for Yemen's solidarity with his country in facing the epidemic, stressing the importance of strengthening and developing the distinguished relations between the two countries in various fields and providing the necessary Yemen with capability to conduct early diagnosis of patients.
