MARIB - SABA
A High-rank governmental team headed by Minister of Local Administration Abduraqeeb Fatah held Wednesday a plenary session with the local authority in Marib governorate.
The meeting included Minister of Endowments and Guidance Dr. Abdullah Atyah, Governor of Marib Maj. General Sultan al-Arradah, Deputy Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Abdullah Dahwan and Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport Munir al-Wajeh.
Fatah stated that the governmental team is intended to sustain the national military in the battle against Houthi rebel militia to move forward to retake the central city of Aljawf governorate, then the capital Sana'a.
Fatah noted that the government's team will be working on supporting the local authority's efforts in Marib to speed up the development drive and manage the challenges facing the governorate at this critical stage.
The governor cited most formidable challenges facing the local authority as a result of the influx of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) to the governorate, promising every availble support to help meeting the IDPs needs.
