Minister of Social Affairs Ibtihaj Al-Kamal discussed with the UNICEF's resident representative in Yemen, Sarah Pisolo Niyanti, child protection programs including preparing a plan to ensure child protection and child-friendly spaces.

They also discussed preparing for a new payment to the Social Welfare Fund beneficiaries, psychological rehabilitation of children affected by the Houthi militia's war, , and building the capacity of the staff of the Ministry and the Social Welfare Fund.
