President al-Alimi: Dealing with Houthis as Authority of Fait Accompli Means Legitimizing Divine Right, Racism, Weapons Outside State
His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) stated that any approach to put an end of the war in Yemen will never be successful, unless it deals with the Houthi militias as part of an Iranian cross-border scheme, and not as a local political party, warning that reducing any crisis of this kind to truces and arrangements for a ceasefire will lead to temporary risk management rather than building sustainable peace.

SP visits HQ of Berlin Parliament

Speaker of Parliament Sultan al-Brakani along with the accompanying parliamentary delegation paid a visit Monday to the Headquarters of the Berlin Parliament.

Speaker of Berlin Parliament Ralf Filand received the delegation.

Mr Filand welecomed the Yemeni MPs, breifing them on Berlin Parliament's duties and the political parties it inlcudes.

Al-Brakani provided a breif presentation about the political and humanitarian situations in Yemen, citing the legitimate government's efforts seriously aiming to stop the war and establish the urgently needed peace, blaming Houthi rebels for prolonging the conflict by refusing to comply with the Inernational Security Council resolutions in relevance and the Stockholm Agreement as well.

The Speaker of Parliament highly praised the German government's supportive stances in support of Yemen for several decades.

The Praliamentary delegation includes Deputy Speaker Mohammed Ashadadi, Ali al-Ma'amari, Zaid Ashami, Ali- al-Amoodi and Abdurhman Asha'abi.
