Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mansour Zaid inaugurated in Aden today an analytical workshop on the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC scale), which is implemented by the FAO with funding from the European Union, in partnership with the Technical Secretariat for Food Security at the country's Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation.
The workshop, part of the EU-funded food security and early warning information systems program, will take place for five days with the participation of 70 specialists in the field of food security from government offices, United Nations organizations and international organizations.
