Deputy Prime Minister Salem al-Khanbashi launched on Tuesday the Industry Ministry's business plan for this year.

Industry Ministry officials reviewed during the event the ministry's plans for investment, competitiveness and partnership with the private sector in developing the country's exports and promoting resources.

They also discussed the performance of the ministry's branch offices and the head office's supervisory role over the branches as they ascertain the availability of essential commodities and affordability of their prices.
